Terms of sale and use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms apply when you download, use or buy DejaVu, sold by Yando Pte. Ltd.. If you live in a country that gives you more rights, those rights still apply.
1. The licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use DejaVu on your own Macs. Free gives 3 days of memory on your main display. Pro (lifetime or subscription): up to 2 of your Macs. Family: up to 5 Macs in one household. Each Mac is activated once online, and you can release a Mac at any time to move your licence to another one (up to 5 changes in 30 days). Lifetime licences include one year of new features.
2. Personal use only
DejaVu is for remembering your own screen on your own Mac. You may not install or use it to observe another person without their informed consent. Doing so is a breach of these terms and may be illegal.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page. The price shown is the final price you pay: nothing is added at checkout. Depending on your country, you pay in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling. Payments on our website are processed by Stripe. Your licence key is sent by email right after payment, and shown on the confirmation page. Mac App Store purchases are governed by Apple’s terms.
4. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal (the link in your purchase email, or Manage Subscription… in DejaVu); Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We remind you 7 days before a subscription ends; afterwards your older memories stay readable for 30 days, then the Free limits apply. Nothing is deleted without warning.
5. Refunds — 14 days
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a purchase made on our website, without giving a reason, by writing to support@godejavu.app. By starting to use Pro before the 14 days end, you keep this refund right anyway. Mac App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.
6. Updates
Lifetime licences include new features released within one year of purchase; after that, DejaVu keeps working and later major versions are an optional paid upgrade. Security fixes are provided for the current major version.
7. Your data
Your memory stays on your Mac and is your responsibility; keep the recovery key and backups you need. The app privacy policy explains the few network connections DejaVu makes.
8. Liability
DejaVu is provided with care but without a guarantee that it will remember everything or never miss a moment. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Please contact support@godejavu.app first: most problems are solved in a reply.
